About

A builder who thinks like an investor.

I'm Masud Rana, founder of SimplexIT and Domain Inventory LLC, and a digital entrepreneur specializing in domain investment, SEO content architecture, affiliate marketing and micro-SaaS development. Over the years I have developed multiple tools, educational assets and niche websites that generate recurring income and help thousands of users every month.

My path into this work was practical rather than academic. I started by building small sites to answer specific questions people were already searching for, learned how search engines reward genuinely useful pages, and reinvested what those sites earned into better domains, better tooling and more ambitious properties. That loop of build, measure, reinvest is still how I operate today.

What distinguishes my approach is the combination of disciplines. Most people in this space are strong at one thing: flipping domains, ranking pages or writing conversion copy. I bring all of them to a single property, which is why the assets I build tend to outlast tactics that depend on any one channel.

Principles I work by

These are not slogans. They are the filters every project has to pass before I commit time or capital to it.

Serve the searcher first

Rankings and revenue follow from being the most useful result. Anything that makes a page worse for the visitor is eventually paid for in traffic.

Own the asset

Properties live on domains and infrastructure I control. That independence is what makes them assets rather than accounts.

Prefer durable over fast

I choose strategies that still work after the next algorithm update, even when a shortcut would pay sooner.

Keep it lean

Small, well-engineered sites and tools are faster, cheaper to run and easier to improve than large, complicated ones.

Measure, then decide

Every property is reviewed on real numbers. Sentiment does not decide what gets more investment.

Where the work happens

Day to day, my time is split between three kinds of work. The first is research: watching domain auctions and the aftermarket, studying search demand, and mapping topics where a well-built resource could serve people better than what currently ranks.

The second is building. I write and structure content, develop small web tools, and design conversion paths for affiliate properties. I prefer lean, fast, well-engineered sites over heavy platforms, and I care about details that most visitors never consciously notice but that search engines and conversion rates reward.

The third is operating. A portfolio of properties needs monitoring, updating, pruning and occasionally selling. Treating that as a discipline rather than an afterthought is a large part of why the assets keep producing.

The companies I founded

Investing and building are kept in separate vehicles so each can be run with the focus its job needs.
